At Vuono Acres, we specialize in designing romantic, garden-inspired wedding flowers using seasonal blooms grown right here on our flower farm in Chesapeake, Virginia. One of our recent favorites? A Bridgerton-inspired wedding filled with elegance, whimsy, and locally grown flowers.
The bride wanted a soft, European garden look—something that felt like a scene out of a period romance. Her whimsical white bridal bouquet featured a lush mix of Calla Lillies, baby’s breath, hanging amaranth, dahlias, sweet peas, butterfly ranunculus, yarrow, delphinium, and Orlaya most of which was harvested fresh from our garden beds. We included subtle accents of blush and hanging greenery to give the bouquet that airy, timeless look.
We provided full floral design for the entire bridal party. Each bridesmaid carried a custom bouquet that complemented the bride’s—elegant, loose, and made from the same locally grown flowers. Together, the bouquets brought a cohesive yet organic charm to the ceremony.
One of the standout floral features of this wedding was the 80 bud vases that adorned every reception table. Each vase held a mini arrangement—delicate, intentional, and uniquely designed from the flowers blooming at Vuono Acres that week. These floral touches gave the venue a romantic, Bridgerton-style atmosphere that the couple adored.
As a flower farmer and wedding florist, I’m passionate about using seasonal flowers that are sustainably grown, however I didnt mind using wholesale flowers to achieve the whole look for the Bride.
